Ruspolimet Group presented its capabilities at the main exhibition of domestic metallurgists - Metal Expo, which was held from November 8 to 11 in Moscow.
At the general stand, the achievements of the head and seven subsidiaries - Grankom, Vacuum Metallurgy Plant, Vyksa Foundry, Drobmash, Thermostal baking company, as well as engineering companies RES Engineering and Special Metallurgical Engineering were demonstrated. Moscow, Expocentre, Metal Expo. More than 400 enterprises of the industry present their capabilities.
"Ruspolimet" - with an extended exposure. Such a representative participation does not go unnoticed at the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
"This year we have the largest exposition at all at the entire exhibition, which was noted at the opening ceremony. We participate in the entire division - these are engineering companies and manufacturers of metallurgical equipment, powders, titanium, casting. We are summing up the results of this year, making plans for the next one," says Maxim Klochay, CEO of Ruspolimet.
Emphasis on new products developed by the group's enterprises. Non-magnetic steels for the oil and gas industry, literally two years ago they were supplied from abroad. New results in the field of powder metallurgy. Grankom demonstrates both metal powders of its own production and products made from them obtained using hot isostatic pressing (GYPSUM) and 3D printing technologies.
"Next year, in our opinion, will be a breakthrough for us: the production volumes of customers with the use of additive technologies have significantly increased, respectively, the demand for metal powders is growing. Grankom provides stable quality, not inferior to imported products, and stable serial deliveries. We estimate the dynamics for the next year as very positive and traditionally we will try to double the volume of sales," says Artem Maksimov, director of the company.
At the same time, Ruspolimet is successfully mastering the production of gasostats - equipment necessary for the manufacture of powder products. Such installations were not produced in the country. The design is carried out by a team of designers of the subsidiary company "Special Metallurgical Engineering" ("Media"). The team also solves the problems of localization of the production of components of gas units, for example, high-pressure valves.
"The company "Special Metallurgical Engineering" was formed as a subsidiary of Ruspolimet two years ago. The team of our company is designers of metallurgical equipment with extensive experience. A line of 4 gasostats has been developed. In addition, there are prospects for the development and creation of laboratory gas stations, which occupy a fairly large place in the nomenclature of similar equipment in the world," says the company's chief designer Sergey Shushurin.
The production of gas stats is organized directly at the Drobmash plant in Vyksa. The company announces new competencies at Metal Expo. "We present the entire line of gas stations that we are currently producing. There are a lot of appeals. Tomorrow we will have guests from four companies with whom we will negotiate directly," says Denis Shishov, First Deputy Managing Director and Production Director of Drobmash.
But Drobmash still has something to offer, including metallurgists. The company has developed new lines for processing metallurgical slags. "Four slag processing and recycling lines have been created, designed for metallurgical plants. The topic of environmental friendliness of metallurgical production is relevant now, and our equipment will really help "green metallurgy", - explains the managing director of the enterprise Lyubov Sirotkina.
Metal Expo is a traditional place for new agreements. On the first day of the exhibition, there was a meeting and signing of an agreement with the leadership of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The agenda includes training of specialists and scientific and technological cooperation. "Next year, a new Technological building of our university will be introduced, so we pay great attention to metallurgy and mechanical engineering. In this connection, cooperation with a large metallurgical company - one of the leaders of the domestic metallurgy in special steels and alloys - is very important for us as a leading engineering university in the country," said Mikhail Gordin, Rector of Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
"I am grateful to Bauman University. Today we have signed two serious documents - an agreement on cooperation in the training and development of specialists, joint work on the organization of practice for students, as well as in a number of areas in the field of design, creation of new products in the areas that we are engaged in," said Viktor Klochay, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ruspolimet.
Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Viktor Yevtukhov and General Director of JSC United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) Alexey Rakhmanov were introduced to the new products of the group. Ruspolimet does not stop there. Further expansion of production capacities is planned. "In the future - the creation of another workshop of special electrometallurgy. I hope that, summing up the results of next year at Metal Expo, we will proudly say that units have appeared in the new workshop. In addition, the plans include the construction of a gasostat shop, in addition to the gasostating site, which is successfully operating and producing products today," said Anatoly Ryabtsev, head of the Center for Scientific, Technical and Innovative Development of Ruspolimet, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor. The subsidiary "Vacuum Metallurgy Plant", which produces titanium alloys, "Vyksa Foundry", which produces castings from steel and gray cast iron, and the oldest baking company in the country "Termstal" (Moscow Saint Petersburg), which develops and manufactures equipment for heat treatment and heating of steel.
For the first time, another engineering company belonging to the Ruspolimet group, RES Engineering from St. Petersburg, which supplies equipment for nuclear power plants under construction both in Russia and abroad, is participating in the exhibition. "Today we mainly supply pipeline fittings and pumping equipment, and from special steels, which is why our synergy with Ruspolimet's competencies and profile is very important - these are titanium alloys, titanium fittings, for example, 90% of all titanium fittings for seawater at the Akkuyu NPP are supplied by our company," says General Director of RES Engineering Sergey Tikhonov. Meeting after meeting, presentations for clients go on continuously.
Almost 90 specialists of the commercial directorate of Ruspolimet and its subsidiaries are involved in the work at Metal Expo. "I am very happy for the colleagues who are represented at our stand today, for all our companies. They are all in the zone of increased attention, there are a lot of questions, a lot of suggestions. This to a certain extent forms a new trend in the development of not only the metallurgical industry, special metallurgy, but also responsible mechanical engineering," Viktor Klochai said. The exhibition lasted four days. During the negotiations at Metal Expo, the contract base of the Ruspolimet group of companies for 2023 and subsequent years was formed.
