Leading enterprises of the automotive industry and metallurgy in the Volga Federal District shared their experience of digital transformation at a joint meeting of the RSPP Co-Council on Digitalization and the Co-Council of RSPP branches in the Volga Federal District. The meeting was held on June 2 at the conference "CIPR" in Nizhny Novgorod. The moderator was Viktor Klochai, Chairman of the RSPP Co-council in the Volga Federal District, head of the Ruspolimet group.
The head of the RSPP, Alexander Shokhin, who participated in the discussion via video link, noted that digitalization is a serious challenge, but companies have something to say on this topic: "It is no coincidence that the heads of the largest companies head Industrial Competence Centers (ICCS act as customers for the development of domestic software) for the digital transformation of industry."
The head of Rostelecom, Mikhail Oseevsky, who heads the RSPP Co-Council on Digitalization, and the vice-presidents of the company introduced the meeting participants to the work of the country's largest provider to achieve digital independence.
In a series of reports, the results of the introduction of digital services at the largest automotive and metallurgical plants of the Volga Federal District were presented. Maxim Sokolov, President of AvtoVAZ, and heads of specialized areas of GAZ and KAMAZ spoke about the digital transformation at the enterprises. Dmitry Volkov, the Director of Digital Transformation of the company, introduced how digitalization is conducted at Ruspolimet.
"The presented reports - the management of Rostelecom, the automotive industry, metallurgy - confirm how effective the work is in the field of digitalization. We see that we have everything to solve the issues of providing our economy and industry with the necessary digital products, software, and, as they say, "hardware". As we saw from the speeches, this process is proceeding at a faster pace, it gives confidence that we will succeed," Viktor Klochai summed up.
