The tenth regional training and production cluster will be created on the basis of the Kulebak Metallurgical College. The signing of the relevant agreement was reported in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Nizhny Novgorod region.
Work on the creation of the cluster will be carried out within the framework of the federal project "Professionalism". The training of college students in close cooperation with the partner-employer JSC "Ruspolimet" will improve the situation with personnel in the industrial cluster "Kulebaki - Vyksa - Navashino".
"In 2022, we opened a metallurgical cluster on the basis of the Alexander Alexandrovich Kozeradsky Vyksa Metallurgical College, for which the largest enterprise of the district, the Vyksa Metallurgical Plant, became an employer partner. A metallurgical cluster will also open in Kulebaki in 2024. In addition to the Kulebak Metallurgical College, the cluster will include the Dzerzhinsky Chemical College named after the Red Army," said Mikhail Puchkov, Acting Minister of Education and Science of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
100 million rubles from the federal budget and 4 million rubles from the regional budget will be allocated for the creation of the new cluster, another 25 million rubles will be provided by the partner company. These funds will be used to repair the college premises and purchase new furniture, equip classrooms with equipment and tools, as well as to improve the skills of teachers, methodological services and management personnel.
