SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR, WE HAVE BEEN INVOLVED IN THE WORK

26.01.2024

January is the shortest working month of the year, as almost a third of the month falls on New Year holidays. And if the majority of companies and organizations joined the work only on the 9th, then the main production units of Ruspolimet JSC, which belongs to continuously operating enterprises, did not stop working at full strength during the holidays in order to deliver the planned orders on time.

- The last two weeks of December 2023 turned out to be quite stressful, - said Yuri Vladimirovich SIMASHOV, head of the Department of Production Planning and Production Support (USISP). - By the end of the year, we tried to carry out the planned capital repairs of equipment in a timely and high-quality manner (in particular, the Banning ring rolling mill, the UZTM hydraulic press, ring gas furnaces, etc.) in order to actively engage in the workflow from the first days of January of the new year. During the New Year holidays, all production units worked hard to fulfill the planned plan. The company's management has set serious tasks: to make a reserve for the near future and load all production sites evenly. On January 3, the rhythmic delivery of products to the warehouse began.

In 2023, the plan for January was 15 thousand units of ring products, for the current month it is planned to produce over 19 thousand rings. The annual production plan has also been increased, therefore, from the first days, the maximum capacity utilization is.

At the end of January, in accordance with the schedule, the Schuller press with an effort of 10 thousand tons will be stopped for major repairs. In this regard, it was necessary to make a certain reserve in order not to subsequently feel the failure of this piece of equipment.

In 2024, it is planned to launch new vacuum induction furnaces (VIP) as part of investment projects. We expect several pieces of equipment to arrive at the production site of Ruspolimet JSC: a milling machine in the CMOP, where, due to the increased volume of orders for flat steel billets ("sutunka"), an increase in production capacity is required, and turning and carousel machines in the CMOP.

We ended last year with over-fulfillment of the production plan both in unit and financial terms. Now we all need to try to do as well this year as we did last year. We have both the resources and the capabilities to do this.
